N.B.: Our Association is entirely volunteer-staffed and we usually respond to e-mail, online feedback or voicemail within 1-3 business days.

Riding or Electoral District Associations (EDAs or Associations), as they are now known, are as old as Parliamentary democracy and form an integral part of our electoral system. They are the backbone of any political party and are responsible for nominating the party’s candidate prior to an election and working to get the candidate elected or re-elected. In addition, our Association fosters the growth of the party, participates in the formation of national policies and supports our local candidate, Member of Parliament and the Party with fundraising and other events.

Within the Conservative Party of Canada, specialized committees reporting to a Board of Directors direct the business of the Association. The members of the Association elect the board at an Annual General Meeting and the board, in turn, elects the officers. The President is the chief spokesperson for the board, chairs all meetings of the board and executive committee and is responsible for the day-to-day business of the Association. Committees are composed of members of the board and interested members of the Association at large.

Every member in good standing of the Association is welcome to attend board meetings. We are extremely proud of our work over the past two decades. Our Member of Parliament, Colin Carrie, and the Association continue to assume a leadership and support role among the Greater Toronto Area's (GTA) Conservative Associations and we encourage your active involvement in the next election campaign.
