And here's the best part: You'll receive your official receipt for federal income tax purposes from our Association's Financial Agent in early January 2025 – much sooner than a receipt for a contribution made to our Party's national office. This helps you file your 2024 taxes faster and secure your tax credit sooner.
*From January 1 to December 31, 2024 you're eligible to donate up to $1,725, to our Association and an additional $1,725 to the Conservative Party's national office, for a total maximum contribution of $3,450. However, your maximum possible individual tax credit is $650.00. Full information on federal political contribtutions is available at Elections Canada's website.
Should you prefer, you may send your contribution by enclosing a personal cheque made out to Conservative Fund Canada - Oshawa. Or you may provide your credit card information including expiry date and CVV to us by regular mail at: Oshawa Conservative Association, PO Box 31059, 1300 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H 8N9. Attention: Official Agent.
We will not accept cash payments for contributions or annual membership fees under any circumstance. Any contribution to our Association is entirely separate from those contribution(s) you may choose to make to a provincial party or candidate.
